Voy Travel is a travel company that aims to enhance the way people book and experience travel by leveraging Web3 technology. To provide travelers with more flexibility and value, Voy Travel has developed a unified loyalty point system, liquid staking, and tradable rewards, allowing users to maximize their travel benefits. Through the TravelFi platform, customers can convert scattered loyalty points into a single tokenized currency, stake assets to earn rewards, and redeem or trade points seamlessly.
Voy Travel aims to provide seamless and efficient customer service, ensuring that users have a smooth experience when booking travel services and managing their loyalty rewards. However, several challenges stood in the way of achieving this goal:
- Complexity in integrating blockchain with booking services: Managing a blockchain-based loyalty system while offering a user-friendly platform for booking flights, hotels, cruises, and car rentals required a well-structured solution.
- Limited interoperability between payment methods: Existing systems did not fully support the use of on-chain tokens alongside fiat and native tokens, making it difficult for users to utilize their rewards flexibly.
Scalability concerns: As Voy Travel’s customer base grows, the platform needed to handle up to 10,000 users without compromising speed, security, or performance.
To overcome these challenges, Voy Travel sought to build a comprehensive booking platform where users can buy, trade, and use on-chain tokens, alongside fiat and native tokens, to book travel services. The system needed to be scalable and efficient, ensuring a smooth experience for all users as the platform expanded.

The implemented system successfully met Voy Travel’s requirements in performance, security, and functionality. It is now capable of handling 5,000 concurrent users, ensuring smooth and efficient operations even during peak usage. Since deployment, the platform has onboarded 500 users, demonstrating its stability and readiness for further expansion. With a robust architecture and seamless integration of Web3 features, Voy Travel can now offer an enhanced booking and loyalty experience to its growing customer base.
