YBM, a leading education provider, has signed a licensing agreement with Vietnam-based software development company SotaTek EDU (led by CEO Thalia Nguyen) for its COS Pro coding proficiency test. This test, developed and administered by YBM, will now expand to the Vietnamese market under the new partnership.

This marks the first international licensing agreement for the COS Pro test, signifying a major milestone in its global expansion. The collaboration with SotaTek EDU is expected to serve as a significant launchpad for YBM’s efforts to penetrate the global market.

Ahead of the official contract signing in Hanoi on January 8, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ceremony was held on December 16 at YBM’s headquarters in Seoul. The event was attended by YBM CEO Moonho Heo, SotaTek Korea CEO James, and other key representatives from both organizations.

“Recognizing the excellence of YBM’s COS Pro coding proficiency test and securing its first export to an overseas market is a tremendous milestone,” said YBM CEO Moonho Heo. “Through this agreement, we will work closely with SotaTek to foster the growth of skilled digital talent in Vietnam with strong programming abilities.”

James, CEO of SotaTek Korea, expressed his commitment, stating, “With the exclusive rights to administer YBM’s COS Pro test in Vietnam, we will leverage our top-tier educational capabilities to enhance the skills of Vietnam’s IT professionals and strengthen their global technical competitiveness.”

This collaboration highlights the mutual dedication of both organizations to advancing IT education and empowering digital talent on a global scale.
